Summer undergraduate workshop 2021 open for applications (deadline June 24)
The Racah Institute of Physics Welcomes You!
The Racah Institute of Physics is a center for excellence in physics research in Israel. Every summer, we welcome a new group of undergraduates for a 1-week introduction to the areas of physics we study. If you are finishing your 2nd year of undergraduate studies, and are interested in pursuing a MSc and PhD in physics, we want you to come meet current physics faculty and students at HUJI, tour our labs, and hear about life in Jerusalem.
IPS fellows and prizes 2021

- Dr. Yonit Hochberg for winning the Jacob Bekenstein IPS Prize for Outstanding Young Theoretical Physicist.

Congratulations to Prof. Avishai Dekel for winning the Landau award
The Mifal Hapayis national lottery has announced the winners of the Landau Science and Arts awards for the year 2020.
The award is named after Michel Landau, who was appointed the head of Mifal Hapayis in 1951, and is used to promote research, science, the arts and culture in Israel. They have been given for 19 years.

"Take your Professor to Lunch: Faculty-Students Meetings" are back!
After a successful pilot, the Faculty-Students meetings are back!
In an attempt to strengthen the connections between students and professors, last year the Racah Institute launched a pilot “Take your Professor to Lunch: Faculty-Students Meetings”.
In this series of meetings, small groups of undergrad students and professors gathered at the Physics Students Club in a relaxed and informal environment to chat over lunch on scientific and non-scientific subjects.
