Joint High Energy Physics Seminars: "Analytic bootstrap for large N conformal field theories"

Abstract:
In this talk I will present a method to find crossing symmetric solutions for crossing equation in the context of large N conformal field theories. This method allows computing CFT data to all orders in inverse power of the spin. These expansions can be resummed, leading to the CFT data for finite values of the spin. I will apply this method to compute CFT data for the exchange of single trace operators (with even twist and any spin) at leading order in N. This provides a complete CFT reconstruction of the full crossing-symmetric exchange amplitudes in AdS. Finally, I will discuss how to clarify and derive some new properties of tree-level AdS physics.
