Abstract:
I will discuss examples of
classical and quantum chaos
in 1D theories. First we will
consider a system of D0
branes, and compute the
classical Lyapunov exponents
at high temperature and large
N. Then I will present work
in progress on the Kitaev
model and its relation to
random matrix theory.
