Abstract 

Machine learning has demonstrated immense success in recent years and penetrated virtually every aspect of our lives. Yet, the energetic and computational costs of this success are substantial, which have led to the search for physical systems which can perform computation based on their internal natural dynamics. While many ideas have been put forward, they all seem to under-perform compared to regular machine-learning algorithms run on regular computers.
