Title: Extreme weather events.
Abstract
There has been much talk about
the effect of warming on extreme weather events, but these are hard
to characterize and almost no one has done anything quantitative.
It is the opposite of the issue of the temperature records, where
there has been an enormous amount of work. Our work is almost trivial
(except for working with corrupted historical data), but the result
appears novel, although limited.
