Dear Friends,
Given the remarkable developments in quantum information, approx. 3 years ago we have initiated at the Hebrew university a distinguished lecture series by world leaders, geared to a wide interested scientific audience and including a tutorial for non experts preceding the main talk.
The talks will cover topics from both physics and computer science, and will be followed by a nice reception.
Both the academic community and industry are welcome!

The upcoming lecture will be given by Prof. Ignacio Cirac (Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics):
Title: Errors in Quantum Computing and Simulation
Date: January 9, 2023 with the program beginning at 16:15 with a tutorial (given by Dr. Erez Zohar).
The main lecture will begin at 17:00.
Location: A300 Auditorium, Computer Science Building A, Safra Campus.
At 18:00 there will be a reception outside the auditorium.
