"Assembling the first galaxies: the role of turbulence and mergers": In the current, well established cosmology model (LCDM), the properties of galaxies should be determined by the properties of dark matter. Otherwise, the cosmology model will just be ab effective one that needs to be extended with further parameters. In this talk I will describe the results of numerical simulations of the first galaxies (in fact, the largest conducted up-to-date) which lead support to the picture in which LCDM might be the true model of the universe and thus all galaxy properties determined from the clustering properties of dark matter.
