Abstract:
This talk will describe the transition from classical evolution to quantum ladder climbing in chirped-driven dynamical problems of increasing complexity. The starting point will be the autoresonant pendulum, followed by its quantum mechanical analog and, finally, the associated driven BEC problem in an anharmonic trap.
