Abstract:
Uranus & Neptune form a distinct class of planets in our solar system. However, there are
more open questions regarding these planets than answers. Given that fact, and the ubiquity
of similar-mass exoplanets, it is essential to understand what they are like.
I will review the current knowledge of the planets focusing on their formation & internal
structure, and identify key open questions and the required measurements from future space
missions.
