Title: Resolving the high-energy neutrino sky: the power of realtime multi-messenger astronomy

Abstract: Real-time multi-messenger phenomena probe the most energetic, distant and rare phenomena in theUniverse. During the last years we have witnessed several breakthroughsin the field of astroparticle physics and astronomy, ranging from the detection of optical counterparts of the gravitational wave sources to the first likely identification of a source of high-energy cosmic neutrinos – abright gamma-ray Blazar. Most recently, a high-energy neutrino detected by IceCube was traced back to a Tidal-Disruption Event (with 3 sigma significance), providing first evidence that these objects might be the sights of extreme particle acceleration. In my talk I will discuss the significance of these neutrino associations and what we can say about the sources of cosmic neutrinos at this stage. I will also discuss the ULTRASAT and IceCube-Gen2 projects, that promise to become game changers for the field of multimessenger astronomy.
