Abstract:
We consider the most general Feynman
integral given a diagram topology, and we
shall find that sometimes there are symmetries
in the choice of current variables which allow
to obtain a set of differential equations for the
integrals as a function of its parameters,
thereby simplifying the evaluation of the
integral. In this way a continuous symmetry
group is associated with every diagram. These
ideas will be demonstrated by the bubble
diagram, where the equations set will be
explicitly solved. We shall speculate on the
general procedure to solve the equation set and
its relation with the group structure.
