Location:
Danciger B building, Seminar room
Lecturer: Prof. Eliezer Rabinovici
Affiliation: Racah Institute of Physics,
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Abstract:
I will describe how the long time behavior of
correlation functions in Quantum Field Theory
(QFT) can serve as a diagnostic tool to study
issues related to Black hole Physics in general
and the role of semi classical geometry in
particular.
This will be done in the AdS/CFT
correspondence setup in which a QFT serves as
a non perturbative realization of a theory of
quantum gravity.
The results presented are based on work with
J.L.F. Barbon.
One aim of the seminar is to learn from the
audience about known aspects of noise...
