Abstract:
In the first part of this introductory talk I will
describe my PhD work on N- Body/Hydro
simulations of non standard cosmological models
(of interacting dark matter-dark energy), which I
did under the supervision of prof. Alexander
Knebe at the Universidad Autonoma in Madrid.
After reviewing the key features of these models
as well as their numerical implementation into an
N-Body code, I will discuss the main differences
that could help distinguish these cosmologies
from the standard LCDM paradigm.
In the second part I will introduce my present
research project, in which I am focusing on
simulations of the local universe by means of
constrained realizations of the initial conditions. I
will discuss the techniques used as well as some
preliminary results.
