Title: The smallest dark matter halos: their abundance, structure and contribution to dark matter annihilation signals

Abstract: Although the existence of dark matter is now observationally established with high confidence, primarily from the Cosmic Microwave Background but also from lensing and dynamical measurements at low redshift, its nature remains unknown. The haloes of galaxies, even dwarf ones, account for about half of all dark matter. The distribution of the remainder depends on the properties the dark matter particle, but most is plausibly bound in lower mass haloes, devoid of stars. I will present the first reliable predictions for the structure of such objects and comment on their potential visibility, individually or in aggregate, through annihilation radiation
