Warm congratulations to Prof. Haim Sompolinsky for winning the Brain Prize founded by the Lundbeck Foundation for his pioneering contributions to computational and theoretical neuroscience. 

The brian prize is considered amongs the most prestigious honor for neuroscience research. Together with Haim Sompolinsky recipients of the prize are Larry Abbott of Columbia University, and Terrence Sejnowski of the Salk Institute, for uncovering principles governing the structure and function of the brain and the emergence of cognition and behavior.
