Modeling the 21cm signal
Upcoming observations of the 21cm signal will probe the properties of the first stars and galaxies that formed in the universe. As the signal is shaped by many different processes, modeling will be required in order to extract information about these first radiation sources. In the talk I will describe ongoing efforts of modeling the signal, focusing on effects that are commonly neglected, but are found to have a significant impact on predictions.
